Over 2,838 houses have been sanctioned under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) 2.0, with a government subsidy totaling ₹70.95 crore.

Minister Reddy highlighted that Atmakur constituency alone will benefit from 251 sanctioned houses, receiving a subsidy of ₹6.27 crore. Addressing the media, he detailed the scheme’s financial breakdown, stating that each beneficiary will receive ₹2.5 lakh towards construction costs. This sum comprises ₹1.5 lakh from the central government and ₹1 lakh from the state government.
