Mon Sep 22 17:30:00 UTC 2025: ## My Chemical Romance to Rock Target Field with Sleater-Kinney

**Minneapolis, MN** – My Chemical Romance (MCR), the beloved New Jersey goth-punk band, is bringing their Black Parade Tour to Target Field on August 24th, 2026. This will be the band’s first ever Twin Cities stadium show, and they’re bringing along indie-rock icons Sleater-Kinney as the opening act.

After a hiatus in the 2010s, MCR has returned stronger than ever, filling stadiums like Soldier Field in Chicago and Fenway Park in Boston this past summer. The upcoming tour continues the celebration of the 20th anniversary of their iconic album, “The Black Parade.”

Known for honoring their influences, MCR has enlisted veteran acts to join them on various dates. In addition to Sleater-Kinney, the tour will also feature performances by Iggy Pop and The Breeders in other cities.

The Target Field concert marks a return to large-scale music events at the ballpark, which did not host any major stand-alone concerts in 2025. The concert falls during a Twins road trip, giving the band the perfect opportunity to transform the stadium into a rock and roll haven.

Tickets go on sale this Friday at noon via Ticketmaster.com. Prices have not yet been announced. Don’t miss your chance to see My Chemical Romance and Sleater-Kinney deliver a show to remember at Target Field.
