**TTD Parakamani Theft Scandal Takes Political Turn in Andhra Pradesh; Nara Lokesh Promises SIT Investigation**

**Amaravati:** A political storm is brewing in Andhra Pradesh over the alleged theft at the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Parakamani, the vault where temple offerings are stored. The scandal has escalated into a war of words between political factions, with accusations and counter-accusations flying.

Former TTD Chairman Bhumana Karunakar Reddy challenged his detractors, stating he would be willing to face severe consequences if any wrongdoing during his tenure could be proven. He further claimed that the theft was exposed and millions of rupees were recovered from an individual named Ravikumar.

Adding fuel to the fire, Minister Nara Lokesh addressed the media at the Assembly, promising a thorough investigation into the matter. “We are setting up a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate the TTD Parakamani issue. Jagan [Former CM] and his team played games with God, and God has delivered justice,” Lokesh stated.

He criticized the previous YSRCP government for allegedly failing to properly investigate the theft, claiming that the accused was merely served with a 41A notice instead of being arrested. “Many truths need to come out in this case,” Lokesh added. He also alleged the emergence of crucial evidence in the case of adulterated ghee at Tirupati.

In addition to the TTD scandal, Lokesh addressed other pressing issues, clarifying that the government is not privatizing medical colleges, but rather exploring Public-Private Partnership (PPP) models. He said roads will also be developed using the same method. He also criticised former CM Jagan, who allegedly did not build even a single college in Pulivendula.

Lokesh affirmed the successful completion of the Mega DSC recruitment drive and announced that Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan would be invited to distribute appointment letters. He also pledged to conduct DSC exams regularly every year.

The minister also provided updates on student admissions, expected to be finalized by the end of September, and promised to clear all outstanding payments related to the “Amma Vodi” scheme (Mother’s Gratitude), along with other dues within three months. He further stated that quantum computers are expected to arrive in January, with plans in motion to bring in investments from October and create 20 lakh jobs in the state.

“TCS is coming to Visakhapatnam soon. With the new GST system, purchasing power will increase, and there will be economic progress, leading to increased tax payments. We will clear three installments of college fee reimbursement within three months and then provide it on a schedule. DSC will be conducted at the beginning of every academic year,” Lokesh concluded.
