Sun Sep 21 04:00:00 UTC 2025: **Chicago Bears Face Dallas Cowboys at Soldier Field Sunday**

**Chicago, IL -** The Chicago Bears (0-2) return to Soldier Field this Sunday to take on the Dallas Cowboys (1-1) in a Week 3 matchup. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:25 p.m. CT.

The Cowboys are coming off a high-scoring 40-37 overtime victory against the New York Giants after losing their opener to the Philadelphia Eagles, 24-20. The Bears will look to exploit a Cowboys defense that ranks near the bottom of the league, especially in passing yards allowed.

All eyes will be on Bears rookie quarterback Caleb Williams, the No. 1 overall pick, who has started his career strong with touchdown drives on his opening possessions in the first two games. Williams has shown improvement in his performance week-over-week, and will look to continue that trend against a weak Cowboys defense. His connection with rookie receiver Rome Odunze has already been a highlight, with Odunze leading the team in receptions and yards, and catching all three of Williams’ touchdown passes.

The Bears’ running game, led by D’Andre Swift, showed promise against the Lions, however, Swift is questionable for Sunday’s game due to a quad injury.

Defensively, the Bears will be shorthanded. Linebacker T.J. Edwards and cornerbacks Jaylon Johnson and Kyler Gordon have all been ruled out due to injuries. The Bears will need to find a way to pressure Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, despite the injuries, with Montez Sweat being a key player in the Bears pass rush.

Sweat will face off against Cowboys right tackle Terence Steele in a key matchup. On the other side of the ball, the Bears’ interior offensive line of Joe Thuney and Jonah Jackson will have their hands full against Cowboys defensive tackles Kenny Clark and Osa Odighizuwa.

The Cowboys offense, led by Prescott and featuring receivers CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens, and running back Javonte Williams, ranks among the top in the league in both scoring and total yardage.
