**KOCHI, India – September 20, 2025** – Police have filed a chargesheet against five individuals and two event companies in connection with a serious accident last December that left Thrikkakara MLA Uma Thomas severely injured. Thomas fell from a poorly constructed VIP gallery at the Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium in Kochi.

The chargesheet names Nigosh Kumar (owner of Mridhanga Vision), Shameer (CEO of Mridhanga Vision), Jineesh P.S., Krishnakumar M.D. (owners of Oscar Events), and stage contractor Benny as accused. Mridhanga Vision and Oscar Events jointly organized the dance event where the incident occurred.
