**Pryor, Oklahoma -** Country music singers Zach Bryan and Gavin Adcock nearly came to blows at the Born & Raised Festival on Saturday, September 13th, escalating their ongoing feud into a physical confrontation.
Footage posted on social media by Adcock shows Bryan, 29, challenging Adcock, 26, to a fight near a security fence moments before Adcock was scheduled to perform. In the clip, Bryan can be heard yelling, “Hey, do you want to fight like a man? Come open the gate,” before forcibly pushing the fence towards Adcock.
Adcock captioned the Instagram post, “When you get death threats from Sack Cryin before you headline in his hometown. Eat a Snickers, bro.”
Further video evidence circulating online shows Bryan attempting to climb over the fence to reach Adcock, but he was restrained by security personnel. Adcock was then escorted away by a bodyguard.
The incident stems from a prior online dispute that began in July, when Adcock criticized Bryan’s reaction to a teenage fan on social media. Adcock questioned Bryan’s handling of criticism from a young admirer, saying, “If you can’t handle the criticism of a 14-year-old old why do people idolize you?”
Bryan reportedly responded with a since-deleted comment defending his right to refuse autographs and using the acronym “GOMD,” which stands for Get off my d—.
Adcock addressed the situation again in August, accusing Bryan of wearing “a big mask” for the public and questioning his character.
As of Sunday, September 14th, representatives for both Bryan and Adcock have yet to comment on the incident. The future of their relationship and the impact on the country music scene remain to be seen.
