**Bengaluru, September 12, 2025** – Sanjaynagar police have arrested three men suspected of robbing a retired Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) at knifepoint on September 1st. The suspects have been identified as Syed (30), Mohammad Salman (20), and Irfan (23), all residents of R.T. Nagar and D.J. Halli in Bengaluru. Police have recovered the stolen jewelry.
According to police reports, the incident occurred on September 1st when retired ACP H. Subbanna was returning home from his morning walk near the Veterinary College in Hebbal, North Bengaluru. The three suspects allegedly intercepted him, threatening him with a knife and causing injury when he attempted to resist.
Subbanna subsequently filed a complaint with the Sanjaynagar Police. Investigators utilized CCTV footage from the area to identify the suspects, leading to their arrest. The investigation is ongoing.
