HUBBALLI, September 13, 2025 – Tragedy struck the first day of the Krishi Mela in Dharwad on Saturday as a 58-year-old man was killed in an accident involving a tractor. R. Parashuram, a resident of Manasageri village in Tumakuru district, was fatally injured when a mini-tractor being unloaded from a truck fell on him.
Police reports indicate that the iron pole used to unload the tractor broke during the process, causing the vehicle to fall directly onto Mr. Parashuram.
