**Maryland Football Faces Towson in Final Non-Conference Tune-Up**

COLLEGE PARK, MD – The Maryland Terrapins (2-0) are set to host the Towson Tigers (X-X) this Saturday at noon for their final non-conference game before diving into Big Ten play. Coming off two dominant defensive performances, allowing a mere 10 points, the Terps are heavily favored (28.5 points) to win against the Tigers.

Head Coach Mike Locksley, a Towson alumnus, emphasized the importance of disrupting Towson’s offense, particularly by pressuring quarterback Andrew Indorf. “Yeah, really talented kid out of St. Thomas Aquinas,” Locksley said. “Athletic. He seems to be the guy that makes it go. He’s been doing a good job of protecting the football for the most part, talented RPO system. You know, he’s a young guy, so we do have to check his oil.”

On the offensive side, true freshman quarterback Malik Washington looks to improve after a somewhat shaky performance against Florida Atlantic.

Locksley also expressed gratitude for the significant student turnout at the first two home games. “Excited to be back on the shell for a third week. [We had] 12,000 students last week. They really were the foundation for the atmosphere, and that was great to see that many students,” he stated, hoping for a similar show of support despite the early kickoff.

The game will be broadcast live on Peacock at 12:05 PM ET.
