**Indian Automotive Industry Buzzes with New Launches, Updates, and GST Reforms**

**New Delhi, September 6, 2025** – The first week of September has been a whirlwind for the Indian automotive industry, marked by new car launches, special edition releases, and significant policy changes.

Citroen expanded its Basalt SUV-coupe lineup with a new “X” variant, mirroring the strategy used with the C3 hatchback. The new trim boasts revised pricing reflecting the recent GST reforms, a revamped cabin theme, and added features.
