Sun Aug 03 03:20:00 UTC 2025: **Powerball Jackpot Swells to $384 Million After No Winner on Wednesday, July 30**
The Powerball jackpot has surged to an estimated $384 million for the drawing on Wednesday, July 30, after no ticket matched all six numbers in Monday’s drawing. The cash value of the jackpot is estimated at $173 million.
The winning numbers for Wednesday were: 4, 15, 35, 50, 64, and the Powerball was 8.
While the grand prize remained unclaimed, one lucky player in Massachusetts won $2 million by matching five numbers and adding the Power Play option. No one matched all five numbers without the Powerball, which would have been worth $1 million.
2025 has already seen four Powerball jackpot winners. The most recent was on May 31, when a ticket in California won $204.5 million. Other jackpot winners this year include a $328.5 million winner in Oregon on Jan. 18, a $527 million winner on March 29, and a $167.3 million winner in Kentucky on April 26.
The next drawing will take place on Saturday, August 2, just after 11 p.m. ET.
Powerball tickets cost $2 and can be purchased at gas stations, convenience stores, and grocery stores. In some states, tickets can also be purchased online via services like Jackpocket, the official digital lottery courier of the USA TODAY Network. Jackpocket is available in Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Idaho, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Puerto Rico, Washington D.C., and West Virginia.
To play, participants choose five numbers between 1 and 69 and a Powerball number between 1 and 26. Players can also opt for a “Quick Pick” where numbers are randomly generated. Adding the “Power Play” option for an extra $1 can multiply non-jackpot winnings.
