**London, UK – July 3, 2025** – As Wimbledon 2025 enters its second week, British hopes are pinned on Jack Draper who is battling Marin Cilic on No.1 Court for a place in the third round. Unfortunately, Dan Evans, Jack Pinnington Jones and Arthur Fery all crashed out in the second round. However, Emma Raducanu, Cam Norrie and Sonay Kartal secured impressive wins to reach the third round.
Evans faced a daunting challenge against Novak Djokovic on Centre Court, succumbing to the seven-time champion in straight sets (6-3, 6-2, 6-0). Pinnington Jones’s promising run ended with a defeat to 22nd seed Flavio Cobolli (6-1, 7-6(6), 6-2), despite a spirited comeback in the second set.
