**Former Telangana CM KCR Admitted to Yashoda Hospital in Hyderabad**

**Hyderabad, July 3, 2025** – K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), the leader of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party and former Chief Minister of Telangana, has been admitted to Yashoda Hospital in Somajiguda, Hyderabad, this evening due to illness. Doctors are currently conducting medical tests, and a health bulletin regarding his condition is expected to be released shortly.

Sources indicate that KCR has been experiencing symptoms such as a cold, cough, headache, and seasonal fever for the past week. He traveled from his farmhouse in Erravalli to his residence in Nandinagar earlier today, where doctors performed initial examinations. Following the examination it was decided he would need more testing at the hospital.

This admission comes after KCR’s appearance before the Kaleshwaram Project Commission on June 11th, during which he also reportedly felt unwell. During the inquiry, he requested to participate in the inquiry behind closed doors.

Following his appearance before the commission, KCR returned to his farmhouse. Upon arriving at his residence in Nandinagar today, further medical examinations led doctors to recommend hospitalization for more comprehensive testing.

BRS party leaders and supporters have been gathering at Yashoda Hospital following the news of KCR’s admission. Police presence has been increased in the surrounding area. The hospital is expected to release an official health bulletin soon.
