**HYDERABAD, July 3, 2025 (The Hindu) –** A major fire broke out at the Tirupati tyre manufacturing unit in the Katedan industrial area of Hyderabad early this morning, causing significant damage to the facility. Fortunately, no injuries or casualties were reported.
Fire control received an emergency call at 4:29 AM on Thursday, prompting a swift response. Multiple fire tenders from Rajendranagar, Chandrayangutta, and Gowliguda were dispatched to the scene, along with a specialized firefighting robot unit from Madhapur.
Firefighters battled the blaze for several hours before successfully containing it. Three fire engines were deployed in the effort.
