**Nicole Curtis Returns to HGTV with New Season of “Rehab Addict” After Personal Struggles and Wyoming Adventure**

**NEW YORK, NY –** Home renovation icon Nicole Curtis is making a triumphant return to HGTV with a new season of “Rehab Addict,” premiering June 24th. This marks Curtis’s first appearance in new episodes of the flagship show since 2018.

The popular host, known for her passion for historic preservation, took time away from the show after experiencing a significant personal setback that prompted a reevaluation of her life. While Curtis remained private about the details of the challenges she faced, she revealed in a recent interview with People that it led to a spontaneous trip to Paris in 2022.

During a layover, she found herself with only $72 and no wallet, instead of panicking, she saw the situation as a sign, leading her to purchase an 1890s house in Wyoming sight unseen. This house, described as a badly flipped property in need of love, will be the focus of the upcoming four episodes.

Curtis describes the new season as an “evolved” version of the show that debuted in 2010. She explained that she has matured and grown since the early days of the show, but her core passion for saving historic buildings remains unchanged.

“I’m still Nicole Curtis from Detroit, and I want you to save that building, and we’re going to do it,” she stated, promising viewers the same dedication and enthusiasm they’ve come to expect.

Curtis also touched upon the challenges of balancing her public life with her role as a mother. She has made a conscious decision to keep her family life more private, particularly in light of past legal battles. Her focus will remain on the houses she renovates and preserving historical landmarks, offering her children the gift of privacy.

“I think there’s one gift we can give our children, and I give them privacy,” she said. “My boys are my most precious, precious things in the entire world to me.”
