**GUNTUR, INDIA – June 29, 2025** – Andhra Pradesh police are set to become the first in India to comprehensively integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into law enforcement, according to Director General of Police (DGP) Harish Kumar Gupta. DGP Gupta made the announcement at the valedictory program of the three-day “AI4AndhraPolice” hackathon held in Guntur on Sunday.
The hackathon, partnered by 4SightAI, brought together IPS officers, AI experts, startup companies, researchers, and students to collaborate on developing AI-driven solutions for crime prevention, investigation, and improved public service.
