**Nellore, India – June 23, 2025** – A tragic accident in the Kovur mandal of SPSR Nellore district has resulted in the death of a young man and severe injuries to his father. The incident occurred late Sunday night in Jammipalem when the motorcycle they were riding collided with a van.
The deceased has been identified as Malapati Sudheer Kumar, a resident of Jammipalem. Following the accident, local police from Kovur responded to the scene. Kumar’s body was transported to the government hospital for a post-mortem examination, while his injured father was immediately rushed to a hospital for treatment. The extent of the father’s injuries is not yet known.
The incident is under investigation by the Kovur police.
