Sun Jun 22 18:50:00 UTC 2025: ## Blue Jays Rebound with Dominant Win Over White Sox
**TORONTO, ON** – The Toronto Blue Jays bounced back in a big way Sunday, defeating the Chicago White Sox 7-1, avenging yesterday’s lopsided defeat. A stellar performance from starting pitcher Jose Berrios anchored the victory, allowing the bullpen to reset after a taxing outing on Saturday.
Berrios pitched a masterful 7.2 innings, allowing only one run on two hits, while striking out five. After navigating a tricky first inning, he cruised through the next four, allowing only a hit batter and a walk. Chicago managed to score in the sixth after a throwing error, but Berrios shut them down, ultimately throwing a highly efficient 98 pitches.
The Blue Jays’ offense came alive early against White Sox starter Aaron Civale. Bo Bichette led off the bottom of the first with a solo home run. In the second, a string of singles from George Springer, Ernie Clement, Davis Schneider, Daulton Varsho, and Nathan Lukes added three more runs, giving the Jays an early 4-0 lead.
After a quiet stretch, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. blasted a solo home run in the seventh to extend the lead to 5-1. The Blue Jays added insurance in the eighth when Springer and Clement singled, followed by a two-run double by Davis Schneider, making the score 7-1.
Chad Green closed the game with a 1-2-3 ninth inning, securing the victory for Toronto.
