**Tiruchi, India – June 22, 2025** – A widespread power outage is scheduled for June 24th across numerous areas of Tiruchi, the Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Corporation Ltd. (TNPDCL) announced today. The planned suspension of electricity, lasting from 9:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., is necessary for essential maintenance work at the Thennur, Varaganeri, and K. Sathanur substations.
The extensive list of affected locations includes, but is not limited to: Thillai Nagar, Anna Nagar, Karur Bypass, Thevar Colony, Shastri Road, Seshapuram, Madurai Road, Valluvar Nagar, Big Bazaar Road, Gandhi Market, Thanjavur Road, Mahalakshmi Nagar, Taranallur, Varaganeri, Periyar Nagar, Sangiliandapuram, Manalvarithurai Road, K.K.Nagar, Khajamalai Colony, parts of Mannarpuam, SIMCO Colony, K.Sathanur, R.S.Puram, Kulvaipatti and parts of Kottapattu.
