**Monsoon Finally Arrives in Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh Next**

Chandigarh, June 22, 2025 – After days of anticipation, the southwest monsoon has officially advanced into parts of Punjab, bringing much-needed relief from the recent heatwave. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) confirmed the arrival today and predicts favorable conditions for further advancement into parts of Haryana, including Chandigarh, within the next 48 hours.

“The monsoon has advanced in parts of Punjab,” stated Surinder Pal, Director of the Chandigarh Meteorological Department. “Conditions are favorable for its further advancement in parts of Haryana, including Chandigarh, over the next two days.”

The IMD also reported that the monsoon has moved further into Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh, Kashmir, and parts of Jammu.
