**New Delhi, India -** The 11th International Yoga Day was celebrated across the globe on June 21st, with events emphasizing the theme of “Yoga for One Earth, One Health.” From India’s Prime Minister leading mass yoga sessions to Bollywood stars representing the nation internationally, the day served as a reminder of yoga’s ability to unite people and promote holistic well-being.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in a grand yoga event in Visakhapatnam, alongside Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, 300,000 people, and diplomats from 40 countries. He emphasized yoga’s power to connect the world and described it as a collective effort for the benefit of humanity.

In Delhi, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta joined other prominent leaders at a yoga session held at the Sonia Vihar Water Sports Club on the banks of the Yamuna River.

Further south, Union Minister of Steel and Heavy Industries, HD Kumaraswamy, participated in a yoga session with hundreds of employees and their families at the Salem Steel Plant in Tamil Nadu, highlighting yoga’s role in promoting inner peace, mental clarity, and collective well-being.

Bollywood actor Anupam Kher proudly represented India at the Times Square Yoga Day event in New York City, underscoring the global reach and importance of Indian culture and yoga.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath encouraged citizens to incorporate yoga into their daily lives, emphasizing its importance for physical health and the ability to pursue one’s dreams. He celebrated yoga as a tradition passed down by ancient Indian sages.

Even along the tense India-Pakistan border, BSF (Border Security Force) personnel practiced yoga at the Attari-Wagah and Hussainiwala borders in Punjab, reinforcing the message that yoga is not just exercise, but a way of life.
