**Diddy Trial Plagued by Juror Issues; Judge Warns Against Leaks**
**NEW YORK, NY -** The federal trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing turmoil as juror issues continue to mount, raising concerns about the integrity of the proceedings. On Tuesday, Judge Arun Subramanian issued a stern warning to both the defense and prosecution teams after discovering a violation of the court’s sealing order.
According to Judge Subramanian, one or more individuals in the courtroom leaked information about a private proceeding held last Friday, which subsequently appeared in the media. The judge reminded both sides that a gag order had been requested by the defense and threatened contempt charges for any further violations.
“The buck stops with you,” Judge Subramanian told lead counsel Assistant U.S. Attorney Maurene Comey and defense attorney Marc Agnifilo, holding them personally responsible for the conduct of their teams. The judge stated this was his only warning.
The turmoil comes after Juror No. 6 was dismissed from the case on Monday due to inconsistencies in statements regarding his residency. Combs’ legal team had opposed the dismissal, citing concerns about diversity and requesting a mistrial. However, Judge Subramanian rejected these arguments, stating that race should not factor into the court’s decision and that the current jury composition did not raise diversity concerns. The dismissed juror was replaced by an alternate.
Adding to the complications, the U.S. Attorney’s Office filed a letter on Monday indicating openness to further questioning of a second juror regarding potential communications with a former colleague about jury service. This stems from defense arguments that if Juror No. 6 were to be removed, this second juror should also be excused.
Attorney David S. Seltzer told Fox News Digital that, in his opinion, the judge made a mistake overseeing the case, as juror issues continue to plague the federal trial.
Combs was arrested in September 2024 and charged with sex trafficking and racketeering. The trial continues, and the ongoing juror issues are casting a shadow over the proceedings.
