Sat Jun 14 03:10:00 UTC 2025: **Oklahoma City Thunder Steal Game 4 from Pacers, Even NBA Finals Series**
**INDIANAPOLIS** – Shai Gilgeous-Alexander exploded for 15 of his 35 points in the final 4:38 Friday night, leading the Oklahoma City Thunder to a crucial 111-104 victory over the Indiana Pacers in Game 4 of the NBA Finals. The win ties the series at 2-2 and wrests home-court advantage back to Oklahoma City.
Down by 10 points in the second half, the Thunder rallied behind Gilgeous-Alexander’s dominant performance, closing the game on a 16-7 run, with “SGA” accounting for all but one of those points. “He definitely showed who he is tonight,” said Thunder coach Mark Daigneault. “We played with desperation to end the game, and that’s why we won,” Gilgeous-Alexander added.
Jalen Williams contributed 27 points, Alex Caruso added 20, and Chet Holmgren chipped in with 14 points and 15 rebounds for the Thunder. The Pacers were led by Pascal Siakam’s 20 points, followed by Tyrese Haliburton with 18 and Obi Toppin with 17.
The game was physical, with two Flagrant 1 fouls assessed – one to Toppin and one to Lu Dort. The Pacers held a lead as large as 10 points in the third quarter, but the Thunder battled back, tying the game several times in the fourth before taking the lead for good with just over two minutes remaining.
“This kind of a challenge is going to have extreme highs and extreme lows,” Pacers coach Rick Carlisle said. “This is a low right now and we’re going to have to bounce back from it.”
With the series tied, Game 5 will be played in Oklahoma City on Monday night. The Thunder have essentially saved their championship hopes with the win, as teams with a 3-1 lead in the NBA Finals have historically won the championship.
“We knew it when we woke up this morning; 3-1 is a lot different than 2-2 going back home,” Gilgeous-Alexander concluded.
