**Tiruchi, June 13, 2025** – The Tiruchi City Police have announced significant traffic diversions starting from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM tomorrow, Saturday, June 14, 2025, due to a rally organized by the Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK). The rally is scheduled to proceed from Jamal Mohamed College to Campion Higher Secondary School.

To accommodate the rally and ensure public safety, several major routes will be affected, impacting bus services and other vehicular traffic.

Buses traveling to Chennai, Salem, Namakkal, and Thanjavur from the Central Bus Stand will be redirected via Periyar statue, Aristo overbridge, Mannarpuram, and the national highway. Chennai-bound buses originating from Pudukottai will be diverted at Wireless Road, proceeding through K.K. Nagar, LIC Colony junction, Sundar Nagar, and Mannarpuram.

City buses heading to the Central Bus Stand from Palakkarai will be diverted at Palakkarai overbridge, taking the route through Beema Nagar, Court, Collectorate Office Road, and Periyamilaguparai. City buses operating from the Central Bus Stand towards Palakkarai will be re-routed via Vestry roundabout, MGR statue, Puthur Four Road junction, South Arch, and Thennur overbridge.

Heavy vehicles approaching from G Corner and destined for the airport and Pudukottai will be required to use the Mannarpuram overbridge, Chettiyapatti bridge, check post 2, and the new ring road. Vehicles traveling from the MGR statue roundabout towards TVS Tollgate will be diverted through Cantonment AWPS junction, YWCA, Vestry Roundabout, Collector Office Road, Periyamilaguparai, Aristo overbridge, and Mannarpuram. Vehicles from G Corner headed towards the airport and Pudukottai will be rerouted through Mannarpuram, K.K. Nagar, and Wireless Road.

The Tiruchi City Police have advised the public to avoid the stretch between TVS Tollgate and Cantonment AWPS junction until the rally concludes and to utilize alternative routes during the specified hours.

These diversions are put in place to facilitate the VCK rally smoothly and minimize disruption to the traffic flow throughout Tiruchi.
