**NEET UG 2025 Results Expected by June 14th; Final Answer Key Release Imminent**
**[City, State] – [Date]** – The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to announce the results of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2025 by June 14th, alongside the release of the final answer key. The NEET UG 2025 exam, held on May 4th across 5,453 centers in approximately 500 cities nationwide, saw over 22.7 lakh candidates register.
The results and final answer key will be accessible on the official NTA websites: neet.nta.nic.in and nta.ac.in. In addition to the results, the NTA will also publish the cut-off scores for admission to MBBS and other allied medical programs. Last year, the cut-off percentile for general category MBBS admission was 50, while it was 40 for OBC, SC, and ST candidates.
This year’s exam, comprising 180 questions in physics, chemistry, and biology (botany and zoology), has been deemed more challenging by both students and experts compared to previous years, with many finding the paper conceptually demanding and more time-consuming. Students have said that the questions followed the pre-Covid pattern.
Last year, NEET UG was conducted on May 5, with results declared on June 4. This was followed by a re-exam on June 23 due to a controversy, and revised results were declared on July 26.
The NEET UG cut-off scores rose in 2024 compared to 2023. The cut-off for the general category rose to 720-162 from 720-137 in 2023. The same pattern was observed for other categories as well. The cut-off for SC, ST, and OBC candidates increased to 161-127 from 136-107 in 2023.
