Wed May 28 06:00:00 UTC 2025: ## Deepfake Image Targets Influencer Alana Flores; Legal Action Planned

**Monterrey, Mexico** – Popular Monterrey-based influencer Alana Flores has publicly denounced a fabricated intimate image circulating online, created using artificial intelligence (AI) technology, known as a deepfake. Flores, known for her social media presence and partnership with Uruguayan footballer Sebastián Cáceres, has vowed to take legal action against the individual responsible.

The president of the Kings League’s Raniza FC, revealed via her X (formerly Twitter) account that the image, which purports to show her in a compromising position with her boyfriend, a player for Club América, is completely false and generated using AI to cause her harm.

“It’s not real. And yes, I am going to seek legal action,” Flores initially stated. While she initially accused a specific user on X, the tweet was later deleted and replaced with the original statement without mentioning a specific name.

In addition to the deepfake image, Flores has also called out a manipulated video, also created with AI, in which she allegedly claims to use creatine to enhance her physique. “THIS VIDEO IS ALSO AI. I never said this. The complete interview from this video is on La Mole’s channel, I don’t take and never took creatine,” she clarified.

Flores expressed her concern over the potential for AI to be used for malicious purposes. “If you want, continue to question how far people can go with AI just to harm or benefit. And yes. The photo is FAKE,” she emphasized.

Since going public with her relationship with Cáceres, Flores has faced increasing online harassment, including being unfairly blamed for the footballer’s performance. This incident highlights the growing threat of deepfake technology and its potential to cause significant damage to individuals’ reputations and personal lives. Flores’ decision to pursue legal action underscores the need for greater awareness and regulation surrounding the use of AI-generated content.
