**Realme Set to Launch GT 7 Series in India Today, Challenging Mid-Range Market**
**NEW DELHI, INDIA – July 25, 2024** – Realme is poised to officially unveil its highly anticipated GT 7 series in India today at 1:30 PM IST. The launch event will be live-streamed on Realme’s official YouTube channel, allowing viewers across the country to witness the unveiling as it happens.
The GT 7 series is expected to shake up the upper mid-range smartphone market, rivalling established players like the OnePlus 13R. Pricing is anticipated to be similar to the previous GT 6, potentially falling under Rs 45,000.
Ahead of the official launch, details have emerged about the GT 7 and GT 7T models, suggesting a compelling combination of design and performance. Reportedly, both phones will offer IceSense Black and IceSense Blue colour options, while the GT 7T will also be available in a Racing Yellow variant. Realme has teased a new design language featuring a laser-etched metallic frame and a rear coating engineered for enhanced grip and comfort.
**Display and Performance:**
The GT 7 is rumoured to sport a 6.78-inch LTPS AMOLED display boasting a 1.5K resolution, a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and an impressive peak brightness of 6,000 nits. Corning Gorilla Glass 7i is expected to provide robust screen protection. The GT 7T model is rumoured to offer a similar experience with a slightly larger 6.8-inch display and matching specifications.
Under the hood, the GT 7 and GT 7 Dream Edition are expected to be powered by the cutting-edge MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chipset, built on a 4nm process, while the GT 7T will likely feature the Dimensity 8400 Max chip. All models are slated to run on Android 15.
