**Patna, Bihar -** RJD leader Tej Pratap Yadav, the elder son of Lalu Prasad Yadav, ignited a social media storm on Wednesday after a post surfaced featuring him with a woman identified as Anushka Yadav, claiming a 12-year relationship. The initial post, which has since been deleted and reposted, quoted Yadav saying, “We know and love each other for the past 12 years and have been living in a relationship.”
However, hours later, Yadav claimed his social media accounts had been hacked. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), he stated, “My social media platforms have been hacked and my pictures are being wrongly edited to harass and defame me and my family members. I appeal to my well-wishers and followers to be cautious and not pay heed to any rumours.”
The incident occurs against the backdrop of Yadav’s ongoing divorce proceedings with Aishwarya Rai, daughter of former Bihar minister Chandrika Roy, whom he married in May 2018. Yadav filed for divorce in October 2018, citing alleged mistreatment. Rai later accused her in-laws of harassment, and the couple has been living separately since.
The controversy has already drawn political reactions. HAM chief and former Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi has called on Lalu Prasad Yadav to address the matter, warning of potential repercussions in upcoming elections if the situation surrounding Aishwarya Rai is not clarified.
