**Actress Deepshikha Nagpal Mourns the Loss of Co-star Mukul Dev**
**Mumbai, India –** Veteran actress Deepshikha Nagpal has expressed her profound grief over the passing of actor Mukul Dev, who passed away in Delhi on Friday night at the age of 54. The news was confirmed by his family, who announced that his funeral will be held today, May 24th.
Speaking to IANS, Nagpal remembered Dev as a kind-hearted and talented artist. “He was a fantastic actor and an even better human being,” she said. Nagpal, who worked with Dev in the comedy film ‘Teri Bhabhi Hai Pagle’ and the web series ‘Maya 3’, described their close friendship. “We weren’t just friends on set, but off-screen too. We had a group where we used to talk on the phone and keep each other updated. This time, he didn’t mention anything about being unwell or having any problems. It’s very difficult to believe that he’s no more.”
Visibly shaken, Nagpal added, “I am at a loss for words. It’s very shocking. I still can’t believe it. I feel like it might be fake news. I woke up to this news and called him, hoping he would answer.”
When asked about the cause of death, Nagpal stated, “No, I don’t know. Nobody knows. We’ve only heard that he was in the ICU. I can’t say for sure because I don’t know how true it is, so there’s no point in spreading rumors.”
Nagpal emphasized the significant loss to the film industry. “His passing is a great loss to the film industry because he was a brilliant artist and a very good person. I know, for me, he will always remain in my heart. Those who were very close to him will miss him a lot. I think people will always remember him. He will always live on for all of us. I just want to say that his family gets the strength to bear all this. May his soul rest in peace.”
