**Netflix’s ‘Sirens’ Swims Ashore: A Modern Take on Greek Myth with Julianne Moore Leading the Charge**

**LOS ANGELES, CA** – The new Netflix limited series, “Sirens,” is making waves with its reimagining of the classic Greek myth. The five-episode dramedy, now streaming, stars Julianne Moore as Michaela, a captivating billionaire whose allure and influence draw in two sisters, Simone (Milly Alcock) and Devon (Meghann Fahy), into her orbit.

Created by Molly Smith Metzler (“Maid”), “Sirens” dives deeper than the traditional tale of irresistible seduction, offering a perspective from the sirens themselves. “We only hear the sirens described by men,” Metzler explained, “maybe their song is a song of pain… maybe they’re incredibly lonely and misunderstood.”

The series, adapted from Metzler’s 2011 stage play “Elemeno Pea,” features Moore as the enigmatic Michaela, whose wealth and power captivate those around her. Alcock plays Simone, a young woman who becomes Michaela’s assistant, while Fahy portrays Devon, Simone’s skeptical older sister. The show also features Kevin Bacon as Michaela’s husband, Peter, and Glenn Howerton as Simone’s older boyfriend.

According to Metzler, Michaela has created her own universe. She creates her own rules and has made herself the queen of it all. Also, Everyone in the show is pulled toward her.

The cast also includes Josh Segarra as Raymond, Felix Solis as Jose, and Bill Camp as Bruce.

With its stellar cast and unique perspective, “Sirens” promises a captivating blend of drama, humor, and suspense. Watch now, only on Netflix.
