Wed May 21 19:20:00 UTC 2025: ## Twins-Guardians Doubleheader Washed Out; Rescheduled for Wednesday & September
**Minneapolis, MN -** Mother Nature has forced a change in plans for Minnesota Twins fans, as both of Tuesday’s games against the Cleveland Guardians at Target Field have been postponed due to inclement weather. This includes the resumption of Monday night’s suspended game and the originally scheduled evening contest.
Fans can now look forward to a rare Wednesday afternoon of baseball, with the suspended game resuming at 12:10 p.m. CT. The Twins currently lead 2-1 in the top of the fourth inning. Following a brief intermission of approximately 30 minutes, the regularly scheduled Wednesday game will commence.
The postponed Tuesday evening game has been rescheduled for Saturday, September 20, at 1:10 p.m. CT. This will form a split doubleheader, with the originally scheduled 6:10 p.m. CT game to follow.
For the resumed game, Cleveland is expected to utilize their bullpen, while Gavin Williams is slated to start the regularly scheduled game. The Twins will send Joe Ryan to the mound to finish the suspended game, followed by Chris Paddack starting the second game.
Target Field gates will open at 10:30 a.m. CT on Wednesday, with the Twins’ Weather Day and STEM Day pregame activities proceeding as planned. Both of Wednesday’s games will be broadcast on Twins.TV presented by Progressive and the Treasure Island Baseball Network.
