The Kremlin acknowledged it was a sovereign matter for the US but that in the future, talks would need to resume to restore stability.
Funding for the project has yet to be fully secured, and experts have questioned the timeline and budget. A group of Democratic members of Congress have also raised concerns about the potential involvement of Elon Musk’s SpaceX, citing potential conflicts of interest.
