**Hyderabad, India – May 21, 2025** – The Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) took action on Wednesday to clear an illegally constructed portion of a private school in Peerzadiguda municipality that was built on a public road. According to a statement released by HYDRAA, the school owner had merged two plots by encroaching upon a 30-foot wide road within the Yadadri Residential Colony layout, effectively blocking access to the Warangal highway.
The encroachment was identified following a complaint filed by the Residents Welfare Association. A field-level inspection confirmed that the school building occupied the road, violating established building norms. Subsequently, HYDRAA forces demolished the portion of the school that was built on the encroached road.
