**Hyderabad Disaster Response Agency Demolishes School Encroaching on Public Road**
**Hyderabad, India – May 21, 2025** – The Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) took action on Wednesday to clear an illegally constructed portion of a private school in Peerzadiguda municipality that was built on a public road. According to a statement released by HYDRAA, the school owner had merged two plots by encroaching upon a 30-foot wide road within the Yadadri Residential Colony layout, effectively blocking access to the Warangal highway.
The encroachment was identified following a complaint filed by the Residents Welfare Association. A field-level inspection confirmed that the school building occupied the road, violating established building norms. Subsequently, HYDRAA forces demolished the portion of the school that was built on the encroached road. The move aims to restore public access to the road and uphold regulations concerning land use within the residential layout.
