**Pom Klementieff Breaks Cannes’ LBD Streak with Bold Lilac Loewe Gown**

CANNES, FRANCE – May 16, 2024 – The Cannes Film Festival red carpet has been dominated by sleek, all-black dresses for the past two days, with stars like Bella Hadid and Irina Shayk embracing the timeless LBD. However, “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One” star Pom Klementieff injected a vibrant dose of color and architectural design into the premiere of her film on Thursday evening.

Breaking away from the monochrome trend, Klementieff arrived in a stunning lilac plunge dress from Loewe’s Fall 2025 collection, designed by Jonathan Anderson during his tenure at the Spanish brand. The dress, featuring a daringly low neckline, elegant draping, and a high leg slit, offered a refreshing contrast to the sea of black outfits seen earlier in the festival. The back featured delicate straps and a cut-out effect.

Klementieff completed the striking ensemble with metallic sandals, chandelier earrings, and diamond and emerald rings. The piece highlights Anderson’s signature architectural flair at Loewe, known for his avant-garde designs and innovative use of materials.

The actor is reportedly the first person to wear this particular Loewe design in public, as the dress was previously only showcased on a mannequin during the brand’s Fall 2025 presentation in March.

While sequins and classic glamour have been staples at Cannes, Klementieff’s draped lilac gown undoubtedly made a statement and distinguished her from the other stars on the red carpet.
