Wed May 21 12:50:00 UTC 2025: ## Brie Larson to Release Cookbook “Party People” in 2025

**Los Angeles, CA -** Oscar-winning actress Brie Larson is trading movie sets for kitchen sets as she prepares to release her first cookbook, “Party People,” in Fall 2025. The “Lessons in Chemistry” star collaborated with former Milk Bar culinary director Courtney McBroom on the project, which promises “100 creative recipes and endless ideas for weird and wacky parties,” according to publisher Penguin Random House.

Larson hinted at the project earlier this month on Instagram, sending fans into speculation before revealing the cookbook announcement. The inspiration for “Party People” seems to stem from Larson’s role as a cook in the Apple TV+ series “Lessons in Chemistry,” where McBroom served as the food consultant.

The press release states that Larson and McBroom, friends for years with a shared passion for food, aim to help readers “create meaningful connections with the ones you love, whether that’s with family, friends, or yourself.” Recipes highlighted include “Old Pal cocktails, Cheesy Jenga Bread, and Dueling Roast Chickens.”

In a joint Instagram post, Larson and McBroom shared a video of themselves pretending to wake up after a party, before announcing the cookbook and revealing its cover. “PARTY PEOPLE is for anyone who loves to host, eat, gather, and maybe forget to film it all,” Larson captioned the post.

“Party People” is described as “an entertaining cookbook” with party tips and menu ideas, aiming to spark a “new dining revolution” in homes. Pre-orders are now open.
