Sun May 18 05:20:00 UTC 2025: **Headline: Aubrey O’Day Won’t Testify in Diddy’s Sex Trafficking Trial, Despite Speculation**
**New York, NY** – Former Danity Kane singer Aubrey O’Day will not be taking the stand in the federal trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is facing serious charges including sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
O’Day, who rose to fame under Diddy’s guidance on MTV’s “Making the Band,” addressed rumors of her involvement in the trial on the premiere episode of the new iHeart Radio podcast, “Amy Robach & T.J. Holmes Present: Aubrey O’Day, Covering the Diddy Trial.”
Speculation arose after O’Day posted a video on Instagram from New York City with a caption that some interpreted as hinting at a court appearance. However, O’Day clarified on the podcast that she was not subpoenaed by either the prosecution or the defense.
“No, I’m not here to testify for the Diddy trial, that I know of,” O’Day told Holmes, adding that she had been contacted by Homeland Security and had a meeting. “I posted on my Instagram that I was here in New York and enjoying myself because I wanted to make it clear to everyone that I am not here testifying.”
Combs, 55, pleaded not guilty to the charges and is currently being held without bail. If convicted, he faces a potential life sentence.
The trial has already seen bombshell testimony from Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, Combs’ former girlfriend. Ventura described a relationship marked by emotional abuse, coercion, and participation in sex parties. Her initial civil lawsuit against Combs, alleging rape and physical abuse, was settled for $20 million, but the allegations have fueled the current criminal investigation.
The trial is expected to last several weeks. New episodes of O’Day’s podcast will be released throughout the trial.
