**Thanjavur, India – May 16, 2025** – The five-day Bhagavata Mela Natya Natak Mahotsavam, a celebration of dance and drama dedicated to Lord Narasimha Swamy, concluded Thursday night in Melattur, Tamil Nadu. Organized by the Melattur Bhagavatha Mela Natya Natak Vidya Sangam and Trust, the festival featured performances by over 300 artists from 20 dance troupes across India. The event culminated in the performance of “Rukmani Kalyanam” and “Anjaneya Uthsavam.”

The festival, which began on Sri Nrusimha Jayanthi (May 11th), showcased a variety of Bhagavata Natya Natak (dramas) and dance performances. Highlights included Kalaratna Satyanarayana’s dance drama troupe on Mohini Bhasmasura and performances by students from Sri Sathya Sai Instiute of Human Excellence, Karnataka, and Vinitha Srinandan of Surabi Instiute of Fine Arts, Mumbai.
