Mon May 12 18:44:12 UTC 2025: **Mangalore’s St. Aloysius College to Launch Four New B.Tech Programs**

MANGALORE, INDIA (May 13, 2025) – St. Aloysius (deemed-to-be university) will launch four new Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) programs in the 2025-26 academic year, the university announced Monday. The programs, approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), will be offered at the newly established School of Engineering located on the main campus.

The new offerings include Computer Science and Engineering; Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning); Information Science and Engineering; and Electronics and Communication Engineering. Vice-Chancellor Praveen Martis stated that the expansion reflects the university’s commitment to meeting evolving societal needs, emphasizing excellence, ethics, and innovation in technical education.

A new, state-of-the-art seven-story building, currently nearing completion, will house the School of Engineering. It will feature advanced laboratories, smart classrooms, research centers, and collaborative learning spaces. This expansion follows the recent awarding of an A++ grade accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) to St. Aloysius University.
