Tue May 13 15:40:00 UTC 2025: ## Haryana Board Class 12 Results Declared: Girls Outperform Boys, Commerce Students Shine

**Bhiwani, Haryana – May 13, 2025** – The Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE) announced the Class 12 results today, revealing an overall pass percentage of 85.66% for regular students. Out of 193,828 students who appeared for the annual exams, 166,031 successfully passed. Private candidates saw a pass percentage of 63.21%.

Girls once again outperformed boys, achieving a pass rate of 89.41% compared to 81.86% for boys, a difference of 7.55%. Students in rural areas also edged out their urban counterparts, with pass percentages of 85.94% and 85.83% respectively.

Commerce students emerged as the top performers, with an impressive pass percentage of 94.35%. Science students followed with 92.20%, while Arts students achieved a pass rate of 85.31%.

“We are pleased with the overall performance of our students,” said Chairman Dr. Pawan Kumar during a press conference, also highlighting the board’s efforts to prevent paper leaks. “Stringent measures were taken to ensure the integrity of the examination process.” Secretary Dr. Munish Nagpal also attended the press conference.

Charkhi Dadri district emerged as the top-performing district in the state, while Palwal recorded the lowest pass percentage. Government schools recorded a pass percentage of 84.67%, slightly lower than the 86.98% achieved by private schools.

Students can now check their results on the official website, bseh.org.in, and indianexpress.com using their roll number and date of birth. The online mark sheet is provisional; students must collect their original mark sheets from their respective schools.

Students who did not pass in one or more subjects will be placed in the compartment category. The dates for supplementary exams will be announced later.

The window for re-evaluation of answer scripts will open soon, allowing students to apply for rechecking in case of any discrepancies.

This year’s results follow last year’s announcement on April 30, which saw an overall pass percentage of 85.31% with girls also outperforming boys.
