**Blake Shelton’s Country Influence Rubs Off on Gwen Stefani’s Son Zuma**

Blake Shelton, country music superstar and husband to Gwen Stefani, has revealed that his influence is rubbing off on Stefani’s 16-year-old son, Zuma Rossdale, in a surprising way: through country music. Shelton has been a constant presence in the lives of Stefani’s three sons with Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale for a decade.

“He’s leaning into country music pretty much 150 percent,” Shelton told People magazine, referencing Zuma’s newfound passion. He emphasized that he never pushed his musical tastes on the boys, explaining that Zuma’s exposure likely came from “accidentally throughout his lifetime, when he rides in the truck with me somewhere, he can’t help but hear whatever station I have on.”

Zuma, along with his older brother Kingston, 18, have both inherited their parents’ musical talents. Kingston seems to be following in his father Gavin Rossdale’s footsteps. Both have even performed at Shelton’s Ole Red bar in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. Shelton actively promotes their performances.

Shelton is supportive of all the boys’ musical pursuits. He even purchased Logic software for Kingston, who has shown an interest in songwriting. Shelton praised Kingston’s talent, claiming that the 18-year-old is writing “Justin Bieber-quality singles” and has “such a great ear for melody.”
