**25 Injured in Jallikattu Event in Pudukkottai**
**Pudukkottai, May 13, 2025** – A jallikattu event held in Vadacheripatti village, Pudukkottai district, on Tuesday resulted in injuries to 25 people. The traditional bull-taming sport saw the release of 850 bulls over a seven-hour period, with 300 tamers participating.
According to police sources, five of the injured were serious enough to be transferred to Pudukkottai Government Medical College Hospital for treatment. The remaining injured individuals received outpatient care at the event venue.
