TUTICORIN, TAMIL NADU—A week-long boat driver license training program concluded at the Fisheries College and Research Institute (FC&RI) in Thoothukudi. Twenty-one fishermen participated in the program, funded by the Tamil Nadu skill development corporation as part of the “Naan Mudhalvan Finishing School Programme.” The Joint Director of the department of fisheries and fishermen welfare praised the initiative.
