**Hyderabad, May 12, 2025** – The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) has strongly condemned BJP MP Eatala Rajender for his alleged abusive and casteist remarks against Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy. TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud and Bhuvanagiri MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy held a press conference today to denounce Rajender’s actions, accusing him of attempting to garner national attention through inflammatory language.
Goud described Rajender’s comments as “cheap and disrespectful,” questioning the BJP MP’s decorum despite his political experience. He further accused Rajender of being responsible for Telangana’s financial difficulties during his tenure as Finance Minister in the BRS government, referring to him as one of “KCR Alibaba’s Chalees Chors” (forty thieves). Goud also highlighted Rajender’s past controversies, including land grabbing allegations and his expulsion from the BRS government.
Kiran Kumar Reddy added that Rajender’s behavior reflects a lack of ideological clarity and a misguided attempt to gain favor within the BJP. He suggested Rajender’s criticism of the Chief Minister stems from frustration over being overlooked by senior BJP leaders for the state president’s position. Both Congress leaders warned that Congress activists would not tolerate such attacks on their Chief Minister.
