Sun May 11 22:10:00 UTC 2025: **Thunder Tie Series with Low-Scoring Victory Over Nuggets**

DENVER – The Oklahoma City Thunder evened their Western Conference Semifinals series with the Denver Nuggets at 2-2 Sunday, securing a hard-fought 92-87 win in Game 4. The low-scoring affair saw both teams struggle offensively, but Oklahoma City’s bench proved crucial in their comeback victory.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with 25 points, nine of which came in the decisive fourth quarter. The Thunder’s reserves significantly outscored Denver’s bench, 35-8, with Cason Wallace, Aaron Wiggins, and Alex Caruso each contributing double digits. Gilgeous-Alexander’s strong free throw shooting (9-for-12) also helped offset the struggles of his starting teammates.

Despite a strong third quarter that saw the Nuggets take a 69-63 lead, the Thunder rallied in the final period, outscoring Denver 29-18. The Nuggets, led by Nikola Jokic’s 27 points and 13 rebounds, shot a dismal 25-for-80 from the field (31.3%) and 11-for-45 from three-point range (24.4%). Jokic’s own shooting woes continued, as he finished 7-for-22 from the field. Jamal Murray added 13 points for Denver, while Aaron Gordon contributed 15 points and 16 rebounds.

The game was notable for its offensive struggles throughout. Both teams combined for a paltry 25 points in the first quarter, the fewest combined points in a playoff first quarter ever. The Nuggets’ poor shooting continued into the second quarter, with only eight points scored in the final period.

The Thunder now have a significant statistical advantage heading into Game 5, scheduled for Tuesday in Oklahoma City. Historically, teams winning Game 5 in a 2-2 series go on to win the series 81.3% of the time. The pivotal Game 5 will tip off at 9:30 p.m. ET on TNT.
