Mon May 12 12:40:00 UTC 2025: **Karimnagar Collector Orders Tight Security for POLYCET Exam**
Karimnagar, May 11, 2025 – Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha has ordered stringent security arrangements for the upcoming POLYCET (Polytechnic Common Entrance Test) scheduled for May 13th in Karimnagar district. The exam, to be held at seven centers across the district for 2,136 students, will take place from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM.
To ensure a smooth and fair examination, Mr. Jha has directed that CCTV cameras be installed at every examination center. He has also instructed the RTC (Road Transport Corporation) to provide sufficient buses to transport students and police to provide security for question paper transportation. Section 144 will be imposed around examination centers to prevent any disruptions.
Furthermore, the Collector has ordered the prevention of power cuts during the exam, and the establishment of first-aid facilities including medical camps equipped with first-aid kits and ORS packets at all centers. The meeting reviewing the arrangements was attended by officials including the Additional SP Chandrayya, Sirisilla RDO Venkateshwarlu, Polytechnic College Principal Prabhakarachary, District Medical Officer Dr. Rajitha, and Sirisilla Tahsildar Mahesh.
