NEW DELHI – Air India announced on Friday the further extension of its suspension of flights to and from Tel Aviv until May 25th. The suspension, initially implemented following a missile attack near the Tel Aviv airport on May 4th, was first extended to May 6th, and then again to May 8th. The airline, the only Indian carrier offering direct flights to Tel Aviv, typically operates five weekly flights from Delhi.

Air India stated that passengers holding tickets for travel up to May 25th will receive a one-time waiver on rescheduling fees or a full refund if they choose to cancel. On May 4th, a Delhi-Tel Aviv flight was diverted to Abu Dhabi due to the missile attack.
