Wed May 07 14:23:32 UTC 2025: ## Kaleshwaram Gears Up for Saraswati Pushkaralu Festival
**KALESHWARAM, INDIA (May 7, 2025)** – With less than a week remaining before the start of the 12-day Saraswati Pushkaralu festival, authorities in Kaleshwaram are working to ensure all preparations are completed on time. The festival, a once-in-12-years event dedicated to the worship of the river Goddess Saraswati, will take place from May 15th to 26th at the Sri Kaleshwara Sri Mukteshwara Swamy temple.
Endowments Commissioner S. Venkata Rao and Jayashankar Bhupalpally Collector Rahul Sharma conducted a review of the arrangements on Wednesday, inspecting ongoing road works, bathing ghat improvements, and other infrastructure projects along the Godavari River and at the Triveni Sangamam (confluence of the Godavari, Pranahita, and Saraswati rivers).
Commissioner Rao expressed concern over the slow progress of some projects and urged officials to complete all work by May 12th. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is expected to inaugurate the festival on May 15th, unveiling a new statue of Goddess Saraswati. Plans also include a tent city and helicopter joy rides for visitors.
