**NANDYAL, Andhra Pradesh (May 7, 2025)** – Kurnool and Nandyal districts in Andhra Pradesh conducted mock emergency drills today, responding to directives from the Union Home Ministry. The drills, involving police, fire services, medical personnel, and other departments, aimed to assess preparedness for potential emergencies amid heightened tensions with Pakistan.
In Nandyal, a simulated bomb explosion at the Ramnath centre triggered a coordinated response. Police, fire services, and emergency medical teams practiced rescuing and treating “injured” individuals, while a bomb disposal squad searched the area.
