Speaking to the media, Kahne stated that he “enjoyed” his Rockingham experience and is considering another Xfinity race, possibly returning to Rockingham next year. He acknowledged the physical demands of racing, particularly the heat, noting that he felt significantly better this time around due to the limited racing schedule.
