**Hyderabad, May 7, 2025** – Telangana’s Minister for IT and Industries, Duddilla Sridhar Babu, today dismissed opposition criticism of the state government’s welfare schemes as politically motivated. Speaking at the inauguration of a new building at Natco Zilla Parishad High School in Kothur, he highlighted the government’s recent recruitment of 57,000 government employees within 15 months, questioning the opposition’s ability to achieve similar feats.
Minister Babu further challenged the opposition’s criticism of housing initiatives, emphasizing the current administration’s commitment to providing Indiramma housing to all eligible beneficiaries in a phased manner. He also underscored the government’s dedication to improving public education, citing plans to introduce digital classrooms and integrate emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence into the curriculum to enhance academic standards and bridge the gap between government and private schools.
The minister stressed the crucial role of teachers in restoring public trust in government schools, noting that long-pending teacher promotions have been addressed and ‘Amma Committees’ established to oversee school operations.
